PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Mechanical installation of new 60 MW General Electric gas turbines and the main equipment of the power island to make the expansion of the Plant.

SCOPE OF PROJECT

Assembly,  mechanical assembly and installation of main equipment – power island. Assembly and installation of main steam connections. The installed turbine was a General Electric model MT-7060 turbogenerator, with a 60MW generator provided by General Electric and the associated equipment from the power island; the turbogroup was installed in the town of General Rojo – Buenos Aires, Argentina.

ACHIEVEMENTS

All assembly was carried out with high quality standards and daily following all the traceability of processes involved in the project (installation and assembly). The project was performance during an execution time of three (03) months of work where 9,500.00 HH were spent, highlighting that all these HH were without accidents.
