ASSEMBLY, COMMISSIONING AND START-UP OF THE SST-400 STEAM TURBOGENERATOR FOR RENOVA S.A.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

Make the Installations of Siemens model SST-400 STEAM TURBOGENERATOR with a 47MW – 13.2 kV to produce  47 MW of Electric Energy.

SCOPE OF PROJECT

Assembly of all equipment, Provision of materials, manufacture and assembly of plumbing lines associated with the system. Detailed engineering, supply of materials and interconnection of control elements of turbogroup. Assistance to Pre-Commissioner and Commissioning.

 ACTIVITIES

Installed equipment:

  • SST-400 model SST-400 lower exhaust multi-stage back pressure steam turbine.
  • 47MW generator.
  • Speed ​​reducer (Gear Box) and couplings.
  • Central lubrication and accessories.
  • Hydraulic control station.
  • Lubrication pipes (lubrication and control).
  • Drainage pipes.
  • Local command boards and Generator board.
  • Electrical and instrumentation panels.
  • Server and electrical conductors.
  • Instruments and accessories.

Additionally, the detailed engineering of electrical conduits, laying of conductors, location of panels and instruments and electrical connection, instrumentation and control was carried out.

ACHIEVEMENTS

All assembly was carried out with high quality standards and daily following traceability of each processes involved (manufacturing, installation, assembly and tests).The project was executed during six (06) months of work for the mechanical completion where 25,000.00 HH were spent, highlighting that all these HH were without accidents.
